Holy shit! I wrote a new post!

Hey, sorry for the long delay...we have been busy trying to set up our CD release party. Not surprisingly, we've already pushed back our date twice. Soooo.....we were going to have it on December 9th(sat) and due to various technical difficulties, now we are going to wait until after Xmas. We will try tomorrow to set up another show for Dec. 9th at a bar dowtown. We will post our FINAL DATE for the release show as soon as we have it.

Also, I will be priting like mad this month so if anyone wants anything specific, let me know pen15cox@hotmail.com

Studio Pics

Well, we finished recording for our upcoming 5 song EP entitled Demon Seeds. We still need to record back up vocals and mix it, but we should be finished soon. We will be having an EP release show @ JFP Studio (where it was recorded) in a month or so. We will update this site and the myspace site when we have more info. All pictures by Ryan Walsh.

Video On Myspace

We had a blast at the Rancho show last week! Even though Chad and I were under the weather, we had a great time. We are in the midst of recording a 3 (or possibly 4) song demo right now....it will be titled Demon Seed and will have Demon Seed, Sink Or Swim and 1 or 2 others. We are talking about throwing a CD release at the Jungle Funk Productions studio; possibly by the end of the month. Once the demo is mixed, we will be pressing it on 7" vinyl on our own (as yet unnamed) label. Also, we screened a bunch more girls tank tops today for those who were asking...we have S,M,L in various colours. If you would like one (or any other merch), email me: pen15cox@hotmail.com Right now we are also willing to do special orders for you (if you have a specific colour of shirt/ink you would like, email me and I'll see what I can do).
Last but not least, we have a preview of the hopefully soon to be released DVD that Briggs filmed/edited (well, he's still in the process) at the Blue Moon show in July. Hundred Hand Slap will also be on it I believe...we might do them separately, not sure yet. Anyway, we have one song up on the myspace site right now so go check it out! its 2 cameras edited together! we're really hi-tech, we know.

Show coming up!

Hey anyone, if anyone happens to find this site, we are playing next FRIDAY Aug. 25th @ Rancho Relaxo 300 college st. (between spadina and bathurst north side). It is being held upstairs. We are playing with The Motherlode and Excarnation from Picton/Kingston area. It is $5 and the doors are at 10pm. Hope to see you all there.
I've been slacking on this site for the whole summer but hopefully i can get some video from our previous shows up here soon. Also, we have started recording for a 3 song demo, so once that is completed i will attempt to put some tunes on here as well.

SHOW SATURDAY!

We are playing this saturday, July 22nd @ The Blue Moon @ Queen and Broadview (beside the opera house, south side of queen). Playing with us will be Half Full from Picton along with Hundred Hand Slap and Gary Busey! 2$ (maybe 3$ but no more than that i swear) at the door. I'm going to guess it will start around 9pm. New Venue

Hey everyone, the show on the 22nd of July has moved to the Blue Moon at Queen and Broadview. The Motherlode will not be playing, but Half Full will be there. We're trying to hook up another band for the gig. I'll post details when I hear them.

Cancellation!

Hey everyone, the show at the Vatikan on July 22nd has been cancelled. Apparently the Vatikan closed due to shadyness last weekend. We're trying to set up another venue for that date.

Show Announcement!

Hey, just got word on a new show. It's Saturday July 22nd @ The Vatikan at 1032 Queen West. We're playing with the Motherlode and Half Full. $5 at the door. Starts at 9:30pm.
Also, we have another show booked for Sat. August 26th @ Rancho Relaxo on College (north side just west of Spadina) woth The Motherlode and Excarnation.

hey everyone (anyone), the show at the Blue Moon the other night was hilarious! I felt we played better than than the first show even though there was hardly anyone there (to all those friends that came - Margaret sends her love). we got to hear some new words over a couple of tunes from Chad, they sound awesome! We had the pleasure (probably not the right way to put it) of having a very, very drunk older woman named Margaret dancing around and grabbing the mic from Chad, not to mention asking for a kiss! My favorite was when she was sitting on the stage with the mic cord in hand and Chad was standing as far away as the cord would let him (about a foot or so), screaming into her face! and she loved it! I think Mark kicked her hand while she was trying to play with his pedals while Wayne was stomping all over her purse or something! Em and I were the only ones at a safe distance. It was lots of fun and we'll probably play the Open Stage again sometime.

Show Tonight!

hey everyone, we're doing a set at the Blue Moon Open Stage tonight at the Blue Moon on Queen East right beside the Opera House. i think we're on at eleven. sorry for the last minute info but this show was decided over beer at the bar last night.

First Show

Sooo...we played our first show ever the other night at the Jungle Funk Productions studio on Berkely St. It was the most fun I've had in a while! Sold out crowd of 75 sweaty, happy, not-quite-sober friends and friends of friends. Who could ask for more for their first time up on stage together? The Motherlode opened the show playing a mix of originals and covers (including a sick cover of Waiting Room by Fugazi). Test Monkey followed and they rocked the place with keyboard mashing and punk rock attitude. Moore rounded off the evening with a mix of originals and covers. It was a great vibe and by the way things went there will be plenty of these to come. Many thanks to everyone who came out to help us rock!
